The Long March 8 Y-3 carrier rocket arrived at the Wenchang Satellite Launch Center in south China's Hainan Province on Thursday. The rocket will be responsible for the launch of the relay satellite Queqiao II. It will enable communication between China's lunar rover and the ground station, providing relay support for the Chang'e-4, Chang'e-6, Chang'e-7 and Chang'e-8 missions. China's National Space Administration said the relay satellite mission is proceeding in an orderly manner, and the launch is scheduled to take place in the first half of this year.
