As one of the countries with the largest number of Chinese in the world, Indonesia celebrates Spring Festival like China does. During this year's Festival, Indonesian residents held various celebrations to express their good wishes for the New Year. In this video, Reni, an Indonesian vlogger, shows how Indonesians spend the Spring Festival. She bought typical festive food, such as rice cakes and milkfish, and prepared a New Year's Eve dinner with her family. She also put up the Chinese character fu, which means "good fortune," in her home and gave red envelopes to the younger members of her family. Indonesians prefer to put lucky money associated with the numbers eight and two in red envelopes. Click on the video for more.
