The process of making a Tongliang dragon involves eight major steps, from building the frame to gluing, painting and finishing. Most Tongliang dragons have a bamboo and cypress wood frame and are covered with bold and vividly painted silk and satin. Every step of the process is done by hand to ensure that each dragon is of the highest quality.
