Two dead after ship collides with bridge in south China's Guangdong

Two people have been confirmed dead after a cargo ship collided with the Lixinsha Bridge in south China's Guangdong Province on Thursday, causing the bridge to fracture.

Two vehicles plunged into the water, while three others fell onto the boat after the collision.

So far, two people have been rescued, two people have died, one crew member has been slightly injured, and three others are missing. The cause of the accident is under investigation, and rescue work is ongoing.
