China Media Group (CMG) unveils a new online platform for the promotion of made-in-China brands with other guests, Beijing, China, February 24, 2024. /CMG

China Media Group (CMG) has launched a new online platform to display products of Chinese consumer brands on Saturday, which is also the Lantern Festival.

The platform uses CMG's "5G+4K/8K+AI" technologies to display popular goods from all over the country. It will also use advanced campaigns like online galleries, interactive experiences and virtual reality to help promote the brands.

Shen Haixiong, president of CMG, attended the launch ceremony and unveiled the platform with other guests.

"The increasing popularity of domestic brands is a display of the increasing quality of made-in-China products," said Peng Jianming, member of CMG's editorial board, at the ceremony. "CMG will launch a series of multimedia campaigns to promote domestic brands and help boost the consumption of domestic products."

Representatives from Beijing, Liaoning and Jiangxi shared products from their regions. More than a dozen local brands spoke about their experiences at the ceremony.
