Former UNEP chief gives his UNEA-6 expectations

Tackling plastic waste and pollution remains a key agenda of the 6th session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-6), which will take place in Kenya's Nairobi from February 26 to March 1. CGTN spoke to Erik Solheim, former head of the UN Environment Program and president of the Green Belt and Road Institute. He shared his expectation on the meeting to push forward the polluter pays principle to combat plastic pollution.
