Diplomatic envoys from 10 Central and Eastern European Countries, along with their family members, visited an ancient street in Tianjin, north China. The visit coincided with the Lantern Festival on Saturday and the group experienced ancient Chinese culture in person. Nestled amid ancient pavilions and winding alleyways, the centuries-old street houses renowned and time-honored brands. At a museum devoted to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the group of 30 visitors gained a deeper understanding of how TCM is evolving and developing in the new era. The Lantern Festival is a Chinese tradition dating back more than 2,000 years.
