A group of models dressed in stunning red qipao showcased the beauty of these classic dresses at a fashion show in a square in Qingdao City, Shandong Province, drawing crowds of onlookers. Local paper-cut artists created intricate patterns using traditional Chinese cultural symbols and perfectly pressed their paper-cut artworks onto the garments, creating a new style of qipao. Also known as "cheongsam," qipao are iconic Chinese dresses that are long, figure-hugging, one-piece garments with standing collars designed to showcase a woman's beauty and elegance.
