The sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly will take place in Kenya's capital of Nairobi from February 26 to March 1. The meeting is themed around effective, inclusive and sustainable multilateral actions in addressing global environmental crises. Earlier, CGTN's anchor Jiao Yang spoke to Erik Solheim, former chief of the UN Environment Program and President of the Green Belt and Road Institute. He talked about efforts by nations to combat plastic pollution and climate change, and shared his outlook on the upcoming assembly.
