A giant floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel set off from east China's port city of Yantai for Brazil on Saturday. The vessel, the Marechal Duque de Caxias, was built by CIMC Raffles and can handle 180,000 barrels of crude oil and 12 million cubic meters of natural gas daily. It stores 1.45 million barrels of crude oil. With a length of 341.2 meters and its widest part reaching 77 meters, the vessel will operate in an area with a sea depth of over 2,000 meters.
