Thousands of people in western France participated in an effort to set the record for the world's largest Lego display, which they hope to have approved by the Guinness World Records on February 25. Measuring 21 meters long and 1.84 meters wide, the giant Lego fresco depicts a ship called the Notre-Dame de Rumengol, which historically sailed in Brest Harbor. The aim of the challenge is primarily to raise funds for the restoration of the ship, which is set to cost an estimated 250,000 euros ($270,600).
