Liang Qianjuan quit her promising job in Guangdong Province 11 years ago and decided to open an online store, with a goal to sell farm produce from her hometown Huixian County of Gansu Province to the entire country.
A decade later, she aims higher. "In 2024, I hope we can start trying out overseas online retails while prospering our domestic store," she told CGTN.
Liang, who is also a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress, said she will bring suggestions on the training and hiring of high-quality talent in rural e-commerce to Beijing for the upcoming gathering in March, hoping these online retails talents could help her and many others to ship their agricultural products to every corner of the world.
