On the evening of February 26, Israel launched an airstrike on a residential building in Rafah, killing at least seven people and injuring 30 others. Most of the victims were children and women. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said the same day that a full Israeli attack on Rafah would be the "final nail in the coffin" of Gaza aid.
