Stringer Dispatch: Refugees in Rafah struggle for basic sustenance

Global Stringer

Israel has signaled its intention recently to conduct a ground operation in Rafah, Gaza's southernmost town, to "eliminate" Hamas and rescue Israeli hostages. Rafah could soon become a battlefield. The impending invasion has deeply concerned the international community.

The living conditions of the refugees in Rafah have become increasingly difficult. Obtaining food and water is an extreme challenge. Refugee Ibrahim told CGTN he embarked on a very long walk in search of basic sustenance. He tried to forget the war and hoped that things might improve for the better.
