Japan is set to start its fourth round of releasing the nuclear-contaminated water from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the Pacific Ocean on February 28, local media reported. Previously, more than 23,000 tonnes of nuclear-contaminated water has been released into the Pacific Ocean in less than three months.
CGTN Stringer hit the streets of Indonesia to interview people on this topic. Local residents expressed strong dissatisfaction and condemnation, and are also worried about the possible health problems caused by the water. Some people said that this is not just a domestic problem, but will affect the whole world.
