A spokesperson for the Chinese mainland on Wednesday said the mainland reserves the right to take all measures related to a boat collision in waters near Kinmen that led to the death of two mainland fishermen two weeks ago.

The Democratic Progressive Party authorities didn't apologize over the deadly incident and even lied and hid the truth, Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said at a news briefing on Wednesday. She urged Taiwan region authorities to make public the truth as soon as possible.
