The Chinese mainland on Wednesday urged Taiwan authorities to give a reasonable explanation of the circumstances surrounding a boat collision incident earlier this month in southeastern China that caused the death of two mainland fishermen. Zhu Fenglian, a spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of State Council, said that the mainland reserves the right to take further measures and that all consequences will be borne by the Taiwan side.
