CMG Yangshipin 2024 premier programs unveiled

China Media Group (CMG) on Thursday unveiled its premium programs in 2024 for its first national-level 5G new media platform Yangshipin, including 37 key programs and activities with a new layout, connecting the users to the world and the future.

Shen Haixiong, president of CMG, attended the event, along with guests such as Lu Yingchuan, vice minister of culture and tourism; and Dong Xin, deputy head of the National Radio and Television Administration.

They jointly launched a city brand co-building project for 2024, with officials from the cities including Shenyang, Harbin, Dalian, Yantai, Anyang, Huaihua, Huzhou, Quanzhou, Sanya and Guiyang across the country.

"We have witnessed the CMG's strategic upgrade and fruitful results from a nation-level television media to a world-class new mainstream media over the past five years," said Peng Jianming, a member of CMG's editorial board.

"As the first national-level 5G new media platform, Yangshipin has explored an innovative development path in which platform value and brand reputation grow together, and content traffic and communication quality promote each other," he added. "It plays a role in sustaining the CMG's leap-forward development in future."

The CMG Yangshipin's 2024 new program is composed of five sections.

The integrated new style section focuses on broadcasting major events and Olympics resources. For example, livestreaming, short video and virtual exhibition will be used in the program "Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China," while "Bravo, Olympic Dream" program will showcase the passion and feast during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games this summer.

The new development section sheds light upon new opportunities and paths in industries. The new content section aims to cover product clusters in terms of competitions, life, culture, music and "CMG Glory Night". The new culture section is mainly about refining and developing original and characteristic cultural IP, rooted in China's traditional culture.

The new growth and opportunity section showcases two integrated media brand activities. One is the city branding activity and the other is an exclusive brand display for enterprises that are in line with China's brand power project.
