Zhang Haidi, former chairwoman of the China Disabled Persons' Federation and president of Rehabilitation International, on Monday called for strengthened international exchanges, coordination and cooperation to promote the rights and wellbeing of persons with disabilities. While addressing a high-level seminar on persons with disabilities at the 55th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Zhang introduced China's high-quality development in safeguarding the human rights of persons with disabilities.
