Witnesses say Israeli troops fired on a large crowd of Palestinians racing to get food off an aid convoy in Gaza City. Health authorities in Gaza said that more than 100 people were killed and 760 were wounded. Many countries have condemned Israeli military's attacks on Palestinian civilians. The IDF said the casualties resulted from a stampede among those queuing for aid, refuting the Palestinian Authority's accusation that they were fired upon by Israeli troops.
