The robust vitality of human life prevails everywhere, akin to the vigorous growth of a mighty tree spreading its luxuriant canopy. Early humans embedded the vigorous power of the tree into the cultural memory of later generations by creating artifacts using stone, bronze and paint on walls. They regarded these visual representations as symbols connecting the universe, heaven and earth, binding together all things in the world. They viewed death as the start of another mysterious journey. Today, these "trees" inspire endless reflections and offer a glimpse into human yearnings for the future.
