Dozens of Palestinians waiting for aid were killed or injured in an Israeli attack in Gaza City, Gaza's Health Ministry spokesperson Ashraf al-Qedra said in a press statement on Sunday.

Palestinian security and medical sources told Xinhua that Israeli forces opened fire on people at the Kuwait roundabout, south of Gaza City, while they were waiting for aid trucks loaded with flour.

There was no immediate comment from Israel.
