Recently, the Icelandic Ambassador to China Thorir Ibson specifically pointed out in an interview with CGTN that China has made its own commitments in carbon emissions and carbon neutrality, and is continuously striving for this. For example, in the production of new energy vehicles and solar panels, China has not only set an example in low-carbon economy, but also driven innovation in related industries around the world. I believe that China will provide more opportunities for cooperation in carbon capture and carbon cycle technology development for countries including Iceland in the coming years.
