British companies are expanding their investments in China. According to China's Ministry of Commerce, British investments in China jumped 81 percent year on year in 2023. A report by CITIC Prudential Life Insurance shows the number of Chinese families owning net assets of over 10 million yuan, or some $1.4 million, reached over 2 million in 2023.
