At the Two Sessions meetings, the concept of "new quality productive forces" is in the spotlight as China aims to upgrade its manufacturing sector. CGTN spoke to CPPCC member Sun Zhiqiang, chairman and president of Guangzhou Risong Intelligent Technology, a company specializing in robots for electric car production. Sun shares his vision for China, the world's largest consumer and producer of industrial robots, stressing the importance of strengthening mid-to-high-end applications and supporting all industry chain players, especially those in niche subdivisions. He believes China's competitiveness comes from long-term R&D innovation, engineering expertise, domestic market experience, and international technology integration.
