Strands of bamboo were fashioned into baskets, ornaments and other objects in the hands of women in Nanchong, Sichuan Province. Ahead of International Women's Day celebrations on Friday, an interactive bamboo weaving talent exhibition was organized to facilitate skills exchange between artisans. More than 110 women from the area gathered in Miaozigou Village, practicing local traditional handicraft styles together and refining their skills.
