On March 1, 2024, at a steamed bun workshop in Zhumadian, Henan Province, a chef demonstrated the process of making "dragon buns" using yellow dough made from pumpkin and white dough made from pure flour. Through processes such as fermentation, kneading, shaping, cutting scales, opening mouths, adding eyes and forming whiskers, accompanied by decorations of red beans, red dates, and other coarse grains and dried fruits, lifelike "golden dragons" and "silver dragons" were presented before the audience.
