Armed forces invaded a primary school and abducted dozens of pupils in the Kaduna State of north Nigeria on Thursday morning, local media outlets said.
The exact number of persons abducted couldn't be ascertained, but some media houses have put it as high as more than 200.
Suspected Islamist insurgents kidnapped 50 people, primarily women, on Monday in the remote Gamboru area in northeastern Nigeria, which shares a border with Chad and Cameroon.
