Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region invests in water resources management, relieving drinking water demand, said Mei Yu, a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), also the director of the Water Resources Bureau of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
He made the remarks at the Members' Corridor held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Thursday.
