Zhang Liwen is an environmental protection professional. During the 2023 Two Sessions, her proposal on recycling new energy components garnered significant attention from the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Annually, the CPPCC receives more than 5,000 proposals, of which, some 70 are identified as key ones, 20 selected for in-depth discussion at the CPPCC National Committee's regular consultative seminars. Having learned that her proposal is one of those chosen, Zhang must embark on a period of intense research ahead of her presentation.
