The history of handcrafted papermaking in Anhui Province is long-standing. Among China's national-level intangible cultural heritage representative projects, there are a total of 10 projects related to handcrafted papermaking, with three of them located in Anhui.
In Anhui's city of Huangshan, more than 30 inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, artists and designers completed over 30 pieces or sets of artworks with "paper" as the theme, exploring the beauty of paper from an artistic perspective.
