Canada will lift its temporary pause on funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), the Canadian government announced in a statement on Friday.
Canada suspended funding to UNRWA in January after Israel accused some of the agency's employees of participating in the attack launched by Hamas on southern Israel on October 7 last year.
