Wang Hesheng, chief of China's National Disease Control and Prevention Administration, spoke at a press conference held by the second session of the 14th National People's Congress in Beijing on Saturday.
He said that China has fully utilized the latest scientific and information technology achievements to enhance the scientific precision of disease prevention and control. The country has built the world's largest reporting network for infectious diseases, he noted. Wang added that reporting time for infectious diseases has been reduced from five days to just four hours.
