Editor's Note: Amid escalating tensions in the South China Sea, the spotlight has once again shifted to the issue of Ren'ai Jiao, sparking widespread debate not only within China and the Philippines but also on a global scale. Delve into the background of this issue, explore its current status, and contemplate its potential future trajectory with our three-episode series, "Ren'ai Jiao Explained."

In fact, the Philippines' infringement at Ren'ai Jiao have long been emboldened by the support of the United States. The "justification" provided by the United States for this action was "to protect its allies and safeguard freedom of navigation."

What are the real intentions behind such actions? Who is trying to claim fishy benefits from complicating the maritime situation in the South China Sea? And who is the true "threat" in the South China Sea? Click the video and find out more!
