The U.S. Central Command said in a social media post that its forces on Friday morning conducted a "self-defense" strike against two Houthi truck-mounted anti-ship missiles in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen.
The military also said that on Friday afternoon, the Houthis fired two anti-ship ballistic missiles from Yemen into the Gulf of Aden at a Singapore-flagged, owned, and operated vessel.
"The missiles did not impact the vessel. There were no injuries or damages reported," it added.
