Yazhou pottery is mainly produced in Yazhou Town, Guizhou Province. With a history of over 600 years, the craft is among the top ten famous pottery styles of China. The production process of Yazhou pottery involves more than 70 steps, including clay processing, decorating, glazing, and firing, making it complicated and time-consuming. Zhang Shengbo, born in 1999, has been involved into Yazhou pottery since childhood and has become an inheritor of this intangible cultural heritage.
