During China's annual Two Sessions, CGTN launched a global campaign called "Ask China Expats," encouraging people around the world to ask questions about the country and inviting foreigners living in China to answer them. In this video, French vlogger Romain Sevestre, who has lived in China for 15 years, responds to questions from friends in France about tourism and technology.
Romain says that he thinks China is a beautiful country because of cities such as Nanjing, Beijing and Xi' an, which all have different histories and food cultures. He's also impressed by how rapidly China's technology has developed, with almost all cars and smartphones in China now equipped with Beidou navigation functions, and mobile payments through WeChat and Alipay are ubiquitous.
