Audio description is a way for visually impaired people to enjoy movies in China. Under the "Guangming Cinema" project at the Communication University of China, more than 600 movies have been dubbed.
Cao Jun, who is visually impaired, hopes to be able to watch the same movie with his family in the same theater, using only a pair of headphones that play the dubbed narration. "This must be the future," Cao said with anticipation.
