The deputy head of the military wing of Hamas, Marwan Issa, was targeted in a bombing on the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, Israeli media reported Monday.
According to Hebrew-language media reports, Issa was hiding in the Nuseirat camp. Overnight between Saturday and Sunday, the IDF carried out an airstrike on a building where he was believed to be.
The weekend attack has reportedly killed five people but it's not immediately clear if Issa, considered to be No. 3 in Hamas group, is among the victim.
It's been reported by Israeli media that Hamas is still checking if Issa was killed in the strike. The IDF haven't confirmed his status either.
