A group of models with Zanhuawei hairstyles and dressed in fashionable clothes provided a visual feast for the audience at a fashion show last week in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. Zanhuawei is a traditional Chinese hairstyle featuring a colorful floral headdress made of fresh flowers which is favored among women in the region.

Listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2008, this special headdress, known as the "garden on the head," reflects feminine beauty and the exuberant vitality of women. Stylists combined elements of traditional Chinese culture with contemporary designs to showcase the rich local culture and the beauty of fashion.
