2024 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). The annual Two Sessions was held in Beijing from March 4 to 11. Nearly 3,000 deputies to the NPC and more than 2,000 members of the CPPCC National Committee attended the sessions this spring.

During the Two Sessions this year, General Secretary Xi Jinping had a packed schedule. He met the deputies and members, exchanging ideas and discussing national issues with them.
