Some 10,000 migratory birds have arrived in the Yellow River's middle reaches in the Dalad Banner, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Among the many species are swans, grey cranes, swan geese, and ruddy shelducks. The wetland is witnessing a peak of spring bird migration as tens of thousands of migratory birds travel through the area each year.
