The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, or CPPCC, has wrapped up its annual session in Beijing. Over 2,000 national political advisors from all walks of life gathered to discuss topics regarding China's development. Jia Qingguo, PhD, a member of the CPPCC standing committee and an international relations professor at Peking University, shared his perspective on the CPPCC's role in uniting the people.
