The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, or CPPCC, has wrapped up in Beijing. To explore the mission of China's top political advisory body and its functions, CGTN interviewed Xia Lu, an associate professor of political science at the School of Marxism Studies at Renmin University of China. He said consensus is the keyword that represents the real function of the CPPCC.
