This year, the "Longtaitou" festival fell on March 11, the second day of the second lunar month on Chinese lunar calendar. Various folk shows and activities were organized at a scenic spot in Jincheng City, north China's Shanxi Province. "Longtaitou" means the "dragon raising its head and ushering in spring". It's a tradition for the Chinese people to get a haircut on this very day as they believe it brings good fortune.
