Tea-leaf picking has begun in parts of China, including the tea gardens of Luzhou, Sichuan Province. As row upon row of tea plants begin to sprout, farmers are taking to the fields, nimbly picking the fresh leaves. Soon they are expected to find their way into the cups and pots of tea enjoyed by connoisseurs across the country and further afield.
