A large number of migratory birds were captured on camera, adding vitality to the early spring scenery. Whooper swans, geese, and other waterfowl were spotted in Quanwan Wetlands, northwest China's Qinghai Province. There were eight species and more than 6,600 overwintering waterbirds at Qinghai Lake this winter. Some whooper swans were seen in Caofeidian of Tangshan City in north China's Hebei Province, during their migration. Since March, the Sanggan River Basin in Datong City, north China's Shanxi Province, has also welcomed a large number of migratory birds, including more than 1,000 whooper swans and over 3,000 grey cranes.
