The intensified use of agricultural technologies is improving spring farming in China to lay a solid foundation for another year of bumper harvest. Southwest China's Guizhou Province carried out artificial rainfall enhancement over its western areas, with China's independently-developed Wing Loong-2H large civil unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on March 9. As part of China's efforts to expand the application of new equipment and technologies and improve farmland management in major grain-producing areas this year, east China's Jiangsu Province has set up more than 2,000 automatic meteorological stations and used the Internet of Things to provide accurate cropland data to local farmers.
