After enacting several mutual visa waivers, China recently announced it had extended visa-free entry to six more European countries. The policy, which takes effect on March 13, allows citizens of Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg to enter China without a visa. The trial program is set to run through to November 30.
The visa-free policy has also given a boost to Belgian businesses by injecting new vitality into the tourism sector and facilitating trade.
