He noted that a CGTN poll showed that 93.1 percent of global respondents praise China's economic strength and potential, highlighting China's opportunities in the global market.

Shen said CMG has always endeavored to build bridges and ties so that the people of China, the United States and the world can exchange and communicate, seek common ground while reserving differences, and build a community of common destiny.
Xie Feng, Chinese Ambassador to the U.S.
Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. Xie Feng said the world has witnessed China’s vigorous efforts for high-quality development through the “Two Sessions,” which have just been successfully concluded. China remains a popular destination for global investment, and many believe that “embracing China means embracing opportunities and investing in China means investing in the future,” Xie added.
He noted the successful summit meeting between President Xi Jinping and President Joe Biden last November has set forth the San Francisco vision. The two Presidents recently exchanged letters of congratulations to commemorate the 45th anniversary year of China-U.S. diplomatic ties and underscored continuing efforts to stabilize and grow this relationship.
“The China-U.S. economic cooperation has vast potential,” Xie said. He stated that China welcomes more American companies to settle down in China, and is ready to work with the U.S. side to garner stronger momentum for cooperation and build a breakwater to protect bilateral relations.
Lori Lightfoot, Former Chicago mayor
During the event, the guests expressed their appreciation for the bright prospects of China's high-quality economic development and looked forward to greater economic and trade cooperation and people-to-people exchanges in the future.
Lori Lightfoot, the former Chicago mayor, said Chicago has long attached great importance to cooperation with China, and the continued economic, trade, and cultural exchanges have brought the United States and China closer together. The people-to-people exchange is the only way for the two countries to recognize and understand each other.
With President Xi Jinping's important concept of "new quality productivity,” Lightfoot believes that China's high-quality economic development will bring further opportunities for Chicago and other U.S. cities.
Mike Fassnacht, Former Chief Marketing Officer of Chicago
“We cannot live on individual islands in one particular country. The economy nowadays is more connected,” said former Chief Marketing Officer of Chicago Mike Fassnacht. He considers it is very vital for U.S. companies to visit China.
He said the Chinese economy is one of the largest economies in the world. When China and the U.S. are connected, the two countries will be prosperous together and the world will be more peaceful.
